Knitter's Review
April 12, 2007 Most of us have a collection of "fancy hanks," those yarns that are too gorgeous to refuse but too expensive for more than one hank. This week I give you an extremely simple shawl pattern designed for these types of yarns, using one skein of Artyarns Silk Rhapsody (which we reviewed last week). The pattern follows a fairly common shawl formula and adds simple trim at the bottom. After you've knit one, the training wheels are off—you can use the same pattern for any yarn, at any gauge, and add any kind of embellishment you want. Here it is!
