We haven't talked about books in a while. Exciting things are happening with both the print and digital word.

For starters, I've plucked four relatively new titles from my own must-read pile. They take us from Scotland to slippers, from lace to... potholders? You heard me right.

Blog is Back
In the digital world, two of my favorite bloggers—Ann Shayne and Kay Gardiner—have recently renewed their co-blogging vows. For often daily updates that are uplifting, inspiring, educational, and funny, head over to Mason-Dixon Knitting.

Unfettered Creativity
You may remember Rachael Herron for her Cypress Hollow knit-lit romances, or her memoir, A Life in Stitches. She is a prolific and inspired author who has a new project in store for us. It's a collection of musings on the creative life, and she's letting readers fund it directly through Patreon. I'm curious what Rachael has to say and have signed on as a patron myself. In the Forums: Connecting
Deborah has reached the end of one skein in her shawl project and needs to start the next skein. What's the best way she should do this? Magic knot, or do you have a better suggestion?
