Knitter's Review
January 30, 2003

bootie-licious"My stash is exploding!"

The common cry is rooted in both delight and distress. How can we reduce our stash without eliminating it completely?

This week I share one easy option: baby booties. We look at a new book that will help get you started.

Coming in February: Yarns that glitter!

New This Week
They're tiny, portable, require a minimal amount of yarn, and do a lot more than just keep a baby's feet warm. They're baby booties, and this week we review a new collection of patterns from Zoë Mellor.

Tee Time
Our first order of Knit Happens T-shirts flew off the shelves within just a few days! I'm happy to report that we're now restocked with all sizes from small to extra large.

Heifer Fundraiser Results
The final numbers are in, and they're simply amazing. Over the past six weeks we've collected donations of more than $1,280 for the Heifer Foundation. This translates into the gift of four llamas and six sheep to deserving families around the world from the Knitter's Review community. Thank you!

Tired of knitting alone? The seeking nearby knitters section of our forum is bursting with posts from knitters around the world. Who knows? You may have a new friend in your own backyard.

January Winner Picked
